BN HQ situated in O.G.2 – Casualties slight in comparison with enemy shelling.

31st July – Ridgewood.
41st Div in conjunction with Divisions on Right & Left attacked after extremely violent bombardment of Enemy trench & defence systems. Zero being 3.50 AM. Batt stood to but did not move.
