1st July – Monte des Cats Godewaersveld.
Left Mont des Cats by March Route at arrived at Camp situated in M.6.D. (near La Clytte. In Div Reserve Area.


2nd July – M.6.D.
In Camp M.6.D.


3rd July – Ridgewood.
Batt moved into Reserve at Ridgewood.


4th to 8th July.
At Ridgewood.


9th July.
Batt moved into Line – Right Sub Sector N of Canal relieving 20th Batt Lon Regt. – Division on Right advanced their line 10 PM – Heavy Enemy Shelling on attacking Divisional front – Heavy intermittent shelling on our Bde front during relief – Relief commenced 10 PM & effected 2.30 AM 10th inst. BN HQ situated in O.G.2 – Casualties slight in comparison with enemy shelling.


10th to 14th July – Right Sub-Sector North of Canal.

15th July.
Batt relieved by 24th Batt Lon Regt. & moved into Camp M.6.D. near La Clytte.


16th to 18th July – M.6.D.
In Camp Div Reserve.


19th July.
Brigadier General inspected Batt in Camp.


20th July – In Camp M.6.D.
G.O.C. Div inspected Batt in camp, expressed pleasure at cleanly state of camp.


21st July – M.6.D.
In Camp.


22nd July – M.6.D.
Major W.H. Murphy joined Batt & assumed second-in-command of Batt. – Lt Col Parry returned from Leave


23rd to 29th July – M.6.D.
In Camp.


30th July.
Batt moved into position at Ridgewood at the disposal of 41st Div for impending operations


31st July – Ridgewood.
41st Div in conjunction with Divisions on Right & Left attacked after extremely violent bombardment of Enemy trench & defence systems. Zero being 3.50 AM. Batt stood to but did not move.
