July 1st to 2nd – Fosse 10.
At Fosse 10 in Brigade Reserve.


July 3rd to 6th – Bouvigny.
Moved to Bouvigny in Divisional Reserve.
On 6th July, draft of 99 ORs arrived.


July 7th – Souchez.
Moved to line. Souchez Trenches bad.


July 8th – Souchez.
In line – quiet.


July 9th – Souchez.
More shelling than usual – 22nd Bttn London Regiment carried out gas attack raid on Angres Section. Divisional artillery demonstrated over our Bttn front – enemy reply not severe -our Bttn casualties, 1 OR killed, 1 officer wounded – 7 OR wounded.


July 10th to 12th – Souchez.
In line – quiet.


July 13th to 14th – Souchez.
In line – quiet. Relieved by 17th Bttn and moved to Lorette Heights with Bttn HQ in Ablain.


July 15th – Ablain.
In support – quiet.


July 16th to 18th – Lorette Heights.
In support – quiet.


July 19th – Lorette Heights.
In support – quiet. Relieved by Drake Bttn (RND) and moved to billets in Bouvigny.


July 20th– Bouvigny.
In reserve – Lt Col JA Tredennick took command of Bttn.


July 21st– Bouvigny.
In reserve.


July 22nd – Bouvigny.
In reserve. Brigadier General commanding 141st Infantry Brigade inspected Bttn.


July 23rd to 26th July – Bouvigny.
In reserve.


July 27th – Bouvigny.
Moved by march route to Division and went into Billets. Left Bouvingy at 730am and arrived Division at 1245pm in Corps Reserve.


July 28th- Divion.
In Reserve.


July 29th – Divion.
Major JR Trinder took over command of Bttn vice Lt Col JP Tredennick to 47th (London) Divisional School Pernes as Commandant.


July 30th – Divion.
Moved by march route to Maisnil St Pol. Left Divion at 7am, arrived Maisnil at 730pm.


July 31st – Maisnil St Pol.
In reserve.
